Originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio Dr. Bradford Picot received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As a Morehead Scholar (now known as Morehead-Cain) at the university he was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and also served as a drum major in the marching band. Dr. Picot remained in Chapel Hill to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and later completed a general practice residency at the Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. Service has always been a priority for Dr. Picot as he founded the UNC Malawi Dental Project, an annual service project encompassing free dental care and education on HIV/AIDS in Malawi Africa. This devotion to service has continued through annual participation in Give Kids a Smile, bus dentistry, and free dental care in various clinics throughout the Carolinas. Dr. Picot delivers free dentistry on a monthly basis at the Charlotte Uptown Men's Shelter and offers a shadowing program for aspiring dentists at SouthEnd Dentistry.
